Ghosts in my Arms

Our minds can only hold onto the shadows of our experiences. For over four years I have been reconstructing a visual dialog of apparitions that can only be described as "Ghosts in my Arms".

My artistic practice is based on momentary episodes of life. I maintain their meaning by not over thinking the experience. Allowing accidental happenings to interact with the intention. I maintain the fluidity of expression by removing over complication from the design. Keeping a minimalist approach to the image achieves the complexity of the idea.

These emotions or experiences turn into large screen prints, which often take up to 16 hours and many attempts before the final image is perfected.
